Comparison between electro-galvanized steel grating and hot-dip galvanized steel grating

Mar 28, 2022

Electro-galvanized steel grating is the process of using electrolysis to form a uniform, dense and well-bonded metal or alloy deposition layer on the surface of the steel grating. Compared with other metals, zinc is a relatively cheap and easily plated metal. It is a low-value anti-corrosion coating and is widely used to protect steel parts, especially against atmospheric corrosion, and for decoration. Plating techniques include tank plating (or rack plating), barrel plating (suitable for small parts), automatic plating and continuous plating (suitable for wire, strip).

Hot-dip galvanized steel grating is made of load flat steel and horizontal bars arranged at a certain distance in warp and weft, welded on a high-voltage resistance welding machine to form the original plate, and deep-processed through cutting, notching, opening, edging and other processes to obtain the finished product required by the customer .

Hot-dip galvanized steel grating is divided into the following categories:
1. According to the manufacturing process, the hot-dip galvanized steel grating is considered as pressure-welded hot-dip galvanized steel grating and pressure-locked hot-dip galvanized steel grating.
2. According to the surface shape of hot-dip galvanized steel grating, it is divided into toothed hot-dip galvanized steel grating and flat hot-dip galvanized steel grating
3.I type hot-dip galvanized steel grating and composite hot-dip galvanized steel grating.

Identification method:
(1) The center spacing of hot-dip galvanized steel grating flat steel: according to the series: series 1 is 30mm; series 2 is 40mm; series 3 is 60mm.
(2) The center spacing of the cross bars of hot-dip galvanized steel grating: series 1 is 100mm, series 2 is 50mm. Other specifications can be customized.
(3) Hot-dip galvanized steel grating flat steel: The material is Q235A or stainless steel, and there are ordinary flat type, anti-skid tooth type and section I type. Common specifications are 205, 255, 253, 325, 325, 405, 403, 505, 655, 756, 1008, 10010 Wait.
(4) Hot-dip galvanized steel grating crossbar: round steel, twisted square steel, square steel or hexagonal steel made of Q235A or 304 stainless steel. Twisted square steel is drawn and twisted by a square die, and its commonly used specifications are 55, 66, 88mm, etc.

It is characterized by high strength and light structure: the solid grid pressure welding structure makes it have the characteristics of high bearing capacity, light structure and easy hoisting; beautiful appearance and durability.

Application of hot-dip galvanized steel grating: widely used in platforms, walkways, trestle, trench covers, manhole covers, ladders, fences, guardrails, etc.

Acid and alkali corrosion ability: in the range of PH 6 to PH 12.5, a stable protective film is formed on the surface of the zinc layer, and the corrosion resistance is good.

Examples of hot-dip galvanized steel grating
1. The heavy-duty hot-dip galvanized steel grating is a hot-dip galvanized steel grating formed by welding flat steel with a width of 65mm-200mm and a thickness of 5mm-20mm. Coal mine roads and bridges, etc., can carry large trucks through.

2. Hot-dip galvanized steel grating (spacing between flat bars 40mm) Hot-dip galvanizing steel grating with a spacing between flat bars of 40mm is the most economical and lightest variety. It is the most ideal choice when the span is small.

3. Hot-dip galvanized steel grating (spacing between flat bars 60mm) Hot-dip galvanizing steel grating with a spacing between flat bars of 60mm and a horizontal bar of 50mm is suitable for mining and mining industry. Processing plants in the mining industry

4. Hot-dip galvanized steel grating (flat steel spacing 30mm) Hot-dip galvanized steel grating with a flat steel spacing of 30mm is the most widely used variety in the industrial field. In the series of commonly used hot-dip galvanized steel gratings, the impact on the surface has the strongest resistance

5. Hot-dip galvanized steel grating (I-shaped flat steel) The hot-dip galvanized steel grating welded by I-shaped flat steel has the characteristics of light weight and heavy load. Suitable for various occasions, especially walkways, visiting platforms, etc.
